Whipple results.

I'm pretty happy with this stage of the build, were running right at 14psi of boost with stock injectors and pump, and a 3.75'' pulley, With a cam with a larger fuel pump lobe. Next up bigger injectors, pump and a smaller pulley.

on 93 we made 726hp and 695tq
on 30% E85 blend we made 765hp and 736tq.
All numbers are sae on a dyno jet dyno

Gen V injectors cost $3500 and you may still run out of fuel pump.

Keep the oem fuel system and add a supplemental fuel system for $4-5000 and have plenty of overhead to run 100% E85. Added benefit will be clean valves!

Getting up there! I have two sets of the +30% FIC test injectors left for $1,999 if you want a set They were used on some high HP cars here before going to our SPI Port Injection Kit

Conventional fuel pressure ~50psi

Direct injection fuel pressure 2000psi

They have to handle 40X more pressure

It's your dollar, but I have seen an OEM stock C7 fuel system with a supplemental fuel rail and pump dyno 1400+ on a dyno. All while leaving the factory fuel supply OEM stock.

That convinced me that spending money for DI injectors and high pressure fuel pumps for 20-30% more fuel was not cost effective.

I know what your saying , I just don't want to put a hole in my tank at this point. with the LT5 coming out I'm hoping to see more options and maybe some price changes but only time will tell. I don't have a end game on this car yet , only time will tell when I feel its making enough power.
