How needed is the x brace underneath the car on the drop top gen6's ?
And how much does the X brace weigh ? Thanks in advance AL |

As the vert do not have a roof which stiffen the car for torsions they need other stiffeners such as the x-brace, the K- brace and the tower brace. I apologize I don’t know the weight but just dismantle it and put it on a scale.
A few pounds probably.

I estimated at ~35lbs in another thread. About 20 feet of 0.75” x 1.5” x 3/32” tubing including brackets and bolts.
