Best way to ship tires?

Does anyone know the most cost effective way to ship wheels/tires? It almost seems cheaper to ship an entire car on a flatbed then to it is to ship 4 wheels/tires!

Cardboard on the front and back, wrap in tape. Ship each wheel individually USPS. Ive shipped several sets of Camaro stock wheels \ tires that way. Last time I was right up against their weight limit for a set of SS wheels and tires for a 2014.

I have done this before cut out circles about 1" larger than the rim itself for each wheel, Place foam or some sort of pad on the rim itself so the cardboard does not scratch them. Next you will wrap the wheels in shipping plastic I mean wrap them good so every iinch is covered and wrap several more times then tape the hell out of them.

The wheels will ship as 1 order w/ 4 items for the order. I shipped a set to Texas from Florida for $175 via UPS.

This is what my set of black 10-spoke ZL1 rims looked like from the guy who shipped them to me, thus this is how I shipped my stock 20" 2010 wheels to my buyer.

FedEx will ship tires as they are. No packaging needed

I have used Shipnex to ship a set of wheels/tires. I bought large boxes to pack the wheels in, one wheel per box. Cost about $250 shipped from TX to CA, plus the cost of packaging materials.

If your just shipping tires(not rims), look into greyhound. Putting the tires on a greyhound was the cheapest option last time I did it by quite a lot of money.
