Question Torque converter

I have a 2017 camaro ss, my car has been vibrating at different speeds. Took into dealership and they said they needed to drain all the transmission fluid and change filters and it should stop. If that didn't work after driving it for 200 miles they would have to change the torque converter. I only have twelve thousand miles on my car. Has anybody else had this problem?

More than we care to count. Do some searching. There's even a poll.

I am getting the shimmy and the bouncing tach at 3300 miles. Will be calling for an appointment this week.

I think this is happening to me too. But more at low RPMs like when it's at 1K in V4 mode. Definitely a known issue, typically known to be comparable to driving over rumble strips. I'm waiting for it to be more apparent so I can repeat the issue in front of a tech and get my shizz flushed out

Talking Camaro 2016 2SS A8, NAV, NPP Yellow

At 11000 miles I had a shutter between 40 and 70mph. I thought it was the tires so I replaced the one that I fixed a flat with a plug then checked my alignment they claimed my alignment was off, still did not fix it.
So I went to a different dealer they had their Camaro technician look at it. He said he felt the shutter. So they did the 3 drain refiled and filter, reprogram the tranny thing. They had it for 3 days. When I picked it up it felt like it had more power and was very responsive. The best thing I ever done. Take it to the right technician that is the answer. My car runs like hell on wheels now.

Yes. And apparently the A10 will not fit the C7.

C8's right around the corner.

Yeah I've heard conflicting things about that. GM touts that the A10 is the same size as the A8, but then says it wont fit the C7 lol.

I wish for my sake flushing the fluids would have corrected my transmission shutter.

I had mine flushed about 3-4k miles. Now I am at approx. 8k miles and the shutter is back. I have plans to get the car to a dealer, however, Houston has zero loaner vehicles available and the Camaro is my daily.

Hopefully once the torque converter is replaced my problems will be corrected...I don't believe it is a true fix though. My guess is all these "fixes" are solely band-aides until the newly installed torque converter fails.

We will see and hopefully I can go further than 3k miles without needing to put the Camaro is the shop this time.

mine did it around 12k miles i think, took it in and the dealer replaced it. Now i have 19k miles and the replacement converter is doing it.
Gonna go back for a second one at some point.
