Stargate Universe: anyone watching it?

Wasn't sure if anyone here was a quasi to full blown Stargate fan, but I gotta say.. I'm liking this show. At first it felt like a BSG rerun, but now I can see where the producers were going with the idea..

Not to mention Math Boy is the perfect placement for the comic relief element staple of the franchise..

well I do, I havn't missed a single show. of the entire SG franchise. I have the entire set of the SG series, the origin movie, and the after show movies.........yes, I like them...I think I qualify s a fan.........lol

channel flippin n saw it watched 3 awful mins of bad acting and kept flipping.

Yep to all the above.

I'm not quite sure about this one yet. Some of the characters annoy me and I'm waiting to see how much they can possibly do being stuck on the ship for the entire length of the series.

I thought they might bring another Stargate back to TV to try to have one running if they ever launch the SG MMO.

I doubt they will keep it on the ship full time. Sooner or later they're bound to throw in the plot device of "oh.. we turned the autopilot off!".

Then it's Atlantis meets BSG with just as many pew-pew lazors..

Hell they're firing the pew-pews off next ep.

Yes I watch it, if I dont catch it on friday nights ( to tired to stay up) I normally watch it the next day on Demand, god I love having comcast lol.

Missed like 3 mins of the show last night since power went out & then came back on so I dont know what happen to the creatures after they got them off the ship, going to have to watch it again.

I can answer that one, what flew off the ship was the other shuttle the one with the sen on it.

Not to mention RDA hasn't lost his touch as O'Neil when he cameos; and that GM still provides vehicles for the show.. <_<

'Ya know the Corvette sucked after they went to that body style..'

FAVORITE line of the entire franchise..

Also, I hope they elaborate on the little parasite things they dumped off on 'hoth'.

Not bad but still trying to get into it! Atleast they have stopped the awful segways or jumping back and forth between present and past of teh first two episodes.

It's funny, he works at a law firm as his full-time job and is on Stargate as a secondary job.

Also, a girl who works with me is a soldier for a couple of episodes.

I think he's actually a legal assistant or paralegal. Not a lawyer for sure though.

wrong, the episode after that they are talking about what to do with his body and such. and the shuttle that left the ship was of different design. looking on gateworld they believe it was another alien culture but who knows. it wasn't the shuttle like you think. because that's what I thought. and then episode 4 that conversation kinda threw me off. if it was the shuttle why are they talking about the senitors body?
