What size pushrods?
Is there any way of knowing what size pushrods you need when swapping out a cam? I know the traditional way is to use a specific, adjustable pushrod to measure the correct length. But, is there any other way to know? I was looking at the Vengeance cam package and it lists four different sizes: 7.750", 7.775", 7.800", and 7.850".
Thanks! |

7.800 is standard. This is what you will use in most cases unless you cut the heads or use a much thicker gasket. Milling LT heads down a lot isn't really a great option due to the unique pistons and required compression for direct injection.
