Front lip blackout
In light of the 2018 ZL1 1LE I have been wondering if the "blacked out" front lip could carry over to the 2017 1LE. I'm gonna try with Plasti-Dip, if my car ever shows but wondering if I'm completely off the mark or if it's something others have done or considered.
Yes, I used Paint to make this and yes it looks like booty but use your imagination. lol |

Things like painting out the lower grill area only look good in pics. In real life it's too obvious and in my opinion, ugly.
The ZL1 1LE lip is all one peice and avoids the painted in look. |

Yeah, I guess I'll have to wait and just try. That's the good thing about plasti-dip, it peels right off but if it looks good maybe I will go to vinyl...or not. Just a bored guy with a Camaro addiction.

I dig it man! Makes sure to mask off the grill so the plastidip doesn't get into the radiator and block that precious cooling. Looking forward to pics.

I finally remembered to snap a couple pictures walking into olive garden lol they're half decent lol
I'm a plasti dip veteran but the front came out rough so I'll be touching it up. I was very skeptical about how it would change the look of the car but I alike the slightly aggressive illusion per say on ours Thumbs up or thumbs down? / opinions |
