Do i buy a Mustang GT350R too ???

I tried to buy a gt350r before i bought my 1LE and all of the dealers wanted 100+k for them. Yesterday i received a call from a rich friend of mine that needs to make room in his garage for his third McLaren (rich people problems)... he offered me his 2017 GT350R for 5k over MSRP. I dont really need a third track car but im having a hard time refusing the deal.
The car is the classic Shelby colors. Blue with white stripes. What should i do ?

if he's a true friend why is he offering 5K over MSRP and not just give you what he has in it and not make a huge profit over it? Either way, if you have the money to do that. why not?

So he wants $5k over sticker for his used car? You can get these for sticker and below now. My friend got his for $500 under sticker a month or so ago...

I drove both the 350 and the 1LE and actually prefer the way the Camaro drives quite a bit more, and then when you factor in the major price difference it was a no brainer. If you honestly have the money to get a 350r for the hell of it, then why not? Don't ask some random people on a Camaro forum about it. You're wife is probably the more important person to ask than us

You are probably mistaken your friend's car for a normal GT. 5k over sticker is a deal. I will probably track the camaro mainly, but i dont think i can refuse this deal. It looks like im going to be a mustang owner too...

$5k over is a strong deal for an R. Go for it. If you don't like it, you can probably sell it for a profit.

It's 100% a GT350...just not an R as I saw it tonight. It's got the track pack though, it's his 12th car from the same dealer. Nice car, sounds great too, but not worth the money IMO.

On a side note, we did a few short (10-70 mph or so) pulls, I put 1-2 cars on him each time...

The R is a lot harder to get than a regular GT350.

Great news! I was GT350R shopping before the 1LE came along.

There are 4!!! of them registered to race at Sebring in February. Gotta get to work to show them all up. 😃

dude, get it. As long as he didnt put a ton of mules on it and smoke in it, you're getting a great deal. it's a super cool car, and you clearly aren't a brand fan boy. GT3, 1LE and GT350R under the same roof, that's awesome!

The car is perfect. It only has 220 miles. He has an insane collection of exotics and the gt350r doesn't fit in with his others. he just needs the garage space.

I will be interesting to see how if perfoms next to the 1LE.

You absolutely pounce on that. You could buy it, drive it, and then sell it for the same in a year or so. Your friend is hooking you up.
