Honestly, what's the point? Maybe I'm one of the few but I don't see a point, nor even like when people get into such heated debates about what car is better of faster. It seems childish to me. But I guess we are talking about Mustang and Camaro owners here...

I responded to a thread started by a Mustang guy.

Posted track times from C&D and Motor Trend.

I got banned.

If they allow you access, check it out yourself.

There is so much pain that the 6th Gen is as good as it is.

I read that thread too. I imagine a major reason they banned you was when you told everyone to suck your nuts. Of course, that (and a few other) post(s) seemed to have been removed after you were banned.

You would have still been banned without insulting anyone. Its happened to several.

Funny thing is...the guy who called it and mocked you is a member here. gossipsquirrel. he regularly discusses with bias to the mustang and never gets banned. same with mustang fanboy in this very thread.

you just posted up that a v6 1le (a 1ss with a v6) ran a faster lap than a gtpp. a fact. stuff like that is too much to bear for them. It was a different day and possibly different driver I dont know. But things like that get thrown under the rug and back to regularly scheduled programming such as the gt just needs a different set of tires and a tune to beat an SS. Then beast goes on to talk about destroying Camaros (as usual)...when he hasn't even went as fast as snowblind on his very same track...an SS A8 without so much as a tune vs his converter, header and e85 car LOL. He has never once told anyone on that site about it. Hasn't been faster than me in my near stock car either...and his track is faster.
Just likes to brag about beating a traction limited manual car. hes a good enough guy. just heavily biased. but he doesn't get banned.

they literally have to spoon feed that place and don't want any real opposing data/discussion. plenty of others have noticed the bias and extremes of that place. the forum is a laugh to many the enthusiast.
Its one of the last places in the real world where the mustang and Camaro are close in performance. its fantasy land. and they love it. A nice little sanctuary for many of the "Camaro deniers" I call them.

If a Mustang guy comes on here, only to talk about how the Mustang is better than the Camaro, I can pretty much guarantee you that he's going to get banned from the site at some point. Its not because we're insecure or butthurt or whatever ... its because the person doing it is nearly always doing it just to amuse themselves by riling others up. At the very least, they are 'crusading' on a lost cause. If nobody wants to hear what you have to say, there is no point in saying anything -nobody is going to listen.


The posts that are left up mean very little (I have no desire to actually read the thread & give their site extra traffic). But usually on a board, the worst of it can be edited or deleted. You can say that it wasn't ... but I'm not going to take the word of someone who was just kicked off a forum that they were playing nicely. I've seen far too many examples of people concocting stories to about what they got banned for & why -just to make the site that (justifiably) banned them look bad while they're innocent little angels. Not to mention all the times that they leave out prior warnings or infractions in their version of things.
