New Member from Saskatchewan

Hello all, I'm John, 30, from Saskatchewan. My first few performance cars were rally-inspired, AWD, turbo 4-cylinders. I had a 2011 WRX then later a 2014 Evo X; I think I've always been a muscle car guy at heart, but owning a RWD V8 previously seemed a little too impractical for me and rally-style cars were a happy compromise. That said, there was one more thing I wanted to get out of the way while I was young and single, so I had a bittersweet goodbye to an old friend:

I was in a good enough place to make the trade, not upside-down with my lien, so I traded for this:

2016 Camaro 2SS in Mosiac Black/Adrenaline Red with six-speed, MRC, NPP, sunroof and nav. It was sitting on the lot of my local dealership, I wasn't crazy about the interior, I'm still not, but I managed to walk away with a deal I was happy with. I've had it for almost two weeks now and this is probably the most agonizing break in period I've ever experienced. Hope to learn a lot here.

Nice looking ride you have there, jlagman. Would I be wrong to say your time left this year to be driving it is limited? I recall a RWD V8 on snow and ice does not mix well.

Have fun with that beast and keep safe.

Regards,

Steve

Yeah, I bought a used Mazda B-series last year for hunting but it has since become my go-to, guilt-free beater. So with the truck, buying a Camaro was an easier decision. This way, the toy can be the toy and won't have to pull any double duty.

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!
