Hole in Front Grille
Woke up this morning and noticed this huge hole, I honestly have no idea how it happened because I'm the only driver and I didn't hit anything. It almost looks as if some a-hole put his foot through it. Is it something that could be fixed without replacing the entire thing, which I imagine would cost a bundle?

WOW!! Seemed to happen to my 5th gens all the time. On a bright note, if you love the new 17 50th anniversary style grill, you have an excuse to get one.

You just missing the cover insert for the tow hook.

GM calls it a tow eye cover. Part # for SS is 23388466, should be around $25-$30.

As a side note with this thread, just a friendly reminder, if you ever need your car towed, be sure to have it towed in accordance with your owners manual using the tow hook in the trunk connected into this hole. Towing your car any other way = bad juju.

This happened to me too. Truck in front of me dropped a piece of rebar and I couldn't avoid it. When I got home this piece was missing and the bumper was a little scratched. So mad at myself!

The cover has just been removed so can freely fire your built in 30 Cal. machine gun at annoying buzzing ricers.
