BMR Sways and FE4 conversion end links?

So I am fairly set on these BMR sway bars http://www.bmrsuspension.com/?page=p...&productid=472. My question is that they recommend purchasing rear end links with new sway bars. I was wondering if the FE4 conversion, which comes with front and rear end links AND trailing arms, are good upgrades as opposed to aftermarket end links from BMR or another company to accompany the sway bars (BMR)? Obviously the cheaper cost is very enticing... Thanks!

When you upgrade to the outbound mount sway bars you need rear control arms and end links. The package they have are fe4 stock arms and links. Yes, they are an upgrade. Some will tell you to go aftermarket.....but these are good pieces. If you plan on racing, then you might go aftermarket.....or if you plan on lowering more than an inch.

I did the factory lower control arms and 1LE links, struts, and shocks. Then BMR goodies...

Hmm interesting, so my best bet would be to do the FE4 conversion. But that means I would need to get new FE4 compatible sway bars at the same time because my current sway bars would not fit correct? Like the $639 SB039 that BMR offers would need to be purchased along with the conversion

That is what I did -- I got the FE4 upgrade first (lower control arms, sway bar links) and then the bmr sway bars.

I had to drill out my stock 11 front shocks to take the upgraded sway bar links in the front (the beefer 1LE links needed 12MM opening on the front strut).

Later (the 1LE shocks and struts were late arrivals), I updated the struts and shocks to the 1LE version. I installed the BMR trailing arm and bushings, then toe rods earlier before doing the 1LE shocks and struts.

You can do it in stages, but if you could do it all @ once, it will save you time.

FE4 upgrade gives you way more options for sway bars since you can now use the rear 'outboard' versions...

JusticePete could also give you suggestions on sway bars and get it 'tuned' to what you want to do. He has alot of info on this topic!

The first page of my build thread shows some links to the DIY's I did for that... There are more details on other suspension modes throughout my thread...

Or....you could go the route I am. GM Parts House has a great deal on Z28 front/rear bars that can be bought with end links and control arms for under $350

I already bought my BMR for a good price but what's the diameter on these Z/28 bars?

I believe they are 24/26 solid.
