Turbo or Supercharge?

First Thread:
I'm sure this has been asked before, but I'm going to go ahead and make this my first thread. I have a buddy ready to sell me a turbo for 1k cause he needs some cash. Puts 720hp to the wheels. Should I go ahead and just install this or do a supercharger? I'm thinking of just doing it and giving her hell...

Damn 1k what a good friend! I mean really what a steal! Go ahead and turbo it, just make sure its installed properly.

But if you can also get a supercharger for 1k then I have no knowledge about which is better...

I'll post a pic of it. Doesn't have all the installation parts so I have to buy them separately. He's also a camaro mechanic and does all his own work, so the install is free, but I will still pay him. So about 2k total with parts and install. Also getting a strut brace from him to powder coat and install.

Turbos are great I've been debating myself if to just rock and all motor big cam setup or convert to turbo setup, I've had past experience with turbo' cars and it was all pleasant, amazing power, torque, sounding of the whooooosh!

When it comes to power made, there's not a s/c on the planet that can compete with a properly sized turbo. It will always make more power/tq per psi of boost than any s/c that exists. That's a hell of a steal. Go for it!

That's a supercharger, not a turbo.

Go to the forced induction section and look around. This question is one of the most asked and has been asked ad nauseum...

Is there a way to follow a thread without posting on it?
