Plastic coil spring/control arm plastic caps

In my trunk is 2 plastic covers that go over the rear lower control arms/coil spring. Are these supposed to be installed by dealer? Or left in trunk? Thanks

I saw that in the trunk of the 2SS I looked at. I thought that was strange the the dealer didn't install those, even though I'd prefer to install it myself.

Actually, the more I think about it, why don't these get installed at the factory?

Is it not the alternate deflectors for track events?

Here is what was in my SS trunk. I looked at the paper instruction sheet that was with them and it appears they are for track use only. I was also initially worried when I saw them in there that the dealer missed them at prep.

I am aware that they are track components, thanks. I was not asking, but simply showing with a picture for clarification to anyone still wondering.

Your dealer was right not to install those. You only use those if you are going to be racing your car on a racetrack. They are not intended to be used for daily driving.

Just clarifying to be certain it is understood. Apologies if it is already understood by everyone.

Edit: side note.... Looks like a pain in the a** to spend a couple hours swapping these out for a track day event.

Not the ones that go on the front, the 2 rear pieces. Those are for track use too??
