Hey guys (and gals),
After a lot of research and test drives, my wife and I have settled on a '16 Camaro 2SS. Great car! Didn't even have the Camaro on the radar until I was just about to pull the trigger on a '16 Challenger Scat Pack (which is a nice car btw, just a bit bland) and came across some reviews on it. At first I hated the way it looked until I started coming across some more photos and such. Of course seeing it in person sealed the deal. Anyways, put my deposit down on a Blue Velvet 2SS with the low gloss black wheels, blacked out badges and sunroof. Trying to find out from my dealer if Chevy will install gloss black ground effects for me or if I'm going to have to do that aftermarket (I don't want them the same color as the body, I really liked the way the looked on the SEMA car). Still wavering a bit on the 6M vs. the A8. I know the A8 is just slightly faster, but I really enjoy a manual and I'll never be going to a drag strip. This will be the first Chevy I have ever owned, so I think I picked a good one! Very nice to meet all of you! |

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.
 oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!
