E85 N/A?

I've done some searches, read some of the older threads but I still am not sure about all the parts needed.

I know we need a flex fuel sensor (bought it), more injector (didn't buy it yet) and probably need more pump (nope). Sounds like the stock injectors are 38-40, and we might need 57-65 lb ones?

Anyone stock cubes, heads, cam with real life experiences they can share?

Thanks!

if I remember correctly I think a few people used the ZL1 injectors and pump....... but that setup will be maxed out

Flex fuel sensor is nice to have but not needed if you run 100% e85
I know personally a cammed fbo camaro who got tuned on e85 and the only thing he changed was to the zl1 injectors.

If you are N/A it's more than enough. My friends cammed ls3 drove to the dyno on empty, filled up with e85, swapped zl1 injectors (stock pump) and got tuned. Picked up 10-15 hp/tq throughout entire power band and peak.

I have the flex sensor, siemens 63lb injectors, a ZL1 fuel pump and an ADM FPCM.

No issues, feeds plenty of e85 in!

I'm pulling 65lb injectors off my car in a couple of weeks. Just let me know if you want them.

I'm interested to see the dyno before and after.

No reason not to run the sensor. It is cheap and works great.

60-65lb injectors would be more than enough for a NA combo. Fuel pump maybe, just depends on power level.

Friend gained 50rwhp on his NA 427 going from 91 to e85. Depends on state, but AZ gas is horrible and barely takes any timing, so swapping to e85 allowed him to run 7-8 degrees more timing.

I just swapped on my car, and it is amazing.

Hey Taco will send you a pm.

I'm hearing that the ZL1 injectors might be enough, some folks say they are not.

A few folks have said the ZL1 fuel pump and module are enough.

SNSTR what sort of power are you making?

Hey I'm making 529hp/494tq on e85. About 15/15 less on 93. Don't have a big cam in my 416. I do have ported heads and a port matched fast Lsxr though. 1-7/8" headers.

I'm going to get flex fuel done in a month and I was told that all I would need is the flex fuel sensor, zl1 fuel pump, adm fpcm and zl1 injectors since I am going to stay N/A. Can't wait to sleep the corn lol

ZL injectors would be fine for ~480-500ish rwhp on corn, but if you are going for 500+ NA may run out.

Can always just blend fuel to you hit the limit. Maybe be limited to e60-e70 but that is still a great improvement.

I believe you're friends with Jaime Rodriguez on Facebook (AKA, J-Rod Jr.) Send him a message and ask what they think. They're converting mine to e85 this month. Just a lot more of it. LOL.

I made 463rwhp on a load dyno a year ago, and I trap 125 MPH at 3800-3850 raceweight. So how much power do I make you think Nick?
