General Transmission Question.
Coming up on a trans flush on Christine's A5 trans.. (checked service records)
I think I may have a spun bearing in the transmission. Makes a sound similar to a faint turbine spooling in line with acceleration and shifting under load. Does anyone recognize this? |

Well I've priced out a Trans..
FMV on the truck is about 4500. Trans.. 2300 plus labor. Here's to the Ins company totaling the vehicle and giving me a check for 4500 (Cost of repair = 51% FMV).
