Does anyone have any ideas about a custom air duct coming from the bottom grill ? Suggestions on plastic or aluminum. And has anyone ever did this or attempted to do this ?? Thanks guys.

I didn't exactly get the scoop I wanted. But... I did make a little box. The problem I was having was, the intake was sucking in wayyyyy to much hot air. With all of the intake work I've done on the car, I was mainly focused on getting the most air into the engine. (4 inch intake instead of the original 3 inch that comes stock/aftermarket on the v6. Spiral and dimpled ported throttle body, and intake tube.) While I was not thinking completely about cold air. So when I was getting the monthly checkup and update by my tuner guy, he told me I was sucking in way to much hot air and all the work I've done is going to waste. So at first I thought it was the radiator hose being to close to the inatke. So I wrapped that and it was still hot. So then I wrapped the whole intake, still to hot. So then I went and bought some insulation from lowes and made a sealed box. And FINALLY it's keeping cool. Cooler than stock actually. I went back to my tuner and we drove the car for about 45 minutes and it worked amazing. It was about 75° outside and the highest the intake temp got (at the maf) was about 87° and that was when I went inside the gas station for about 8 minutes and the car was just sitting outside running. I can tell a complete difference. It's like my baby found her soul that she's been looking for haha
