I love how idiots want to dissect the person instead of the actual story in the comments below it.

I'm not an Obama supporter, per se, though of the two....well...duh.

Anyway, not to fall into that trap, great little story though, I chuckled.

My folks had one when I was learning to drive. Even though it was a straight 6, it had almost no pickup - we called it "The Gutless Wonder". Freeway onramps were really, really scary!! The experiences I had with that POS had me hatin' on Fords.

I know that it could have been just that particular car was crap without it reflecting on the blue oval, but when you have had several near-death experiences with a particular vehicle, it can sway your opinion about that car's manufacturer!
