went to a car/boat/camper auction today

bad weather made for a bad turn out but there was a lot of neat stuff and stuff i wish i would have jumped at

1987 corvette hatchback with 50k miles went to 7500 but the guy wanted 10
1994 ford mustang cobra ragtop indy pace car (893 of 1000 made) with decals still in the trunk and plastic on the seat had only 35 miles on it (not a typo it had that many miles on it ) he wanted 35k
1985 monte carlo ss with 68k miles on it went to 4500 seller wanted 5500 (i wanted this car!)
1986 or 87 olds cutlass 442 T top sold for 2500 bucks
a mint cond 1960 caddy eldorado hard top
a mint cond 1947 desoto hardtop that just had a frame off resto
1962 VW beetle hardtop with the full length fabric sunroof with mag wheels and aftermarket exhaust sold for 4000
1966 pontiac gto convertible with cragar mags sold for 22k!
1975 bricklin sv1 coupe that had only 68 miles on it and was NEVER titled who ever would have bought that car would be owner numero uno but the guy wanted 30k it brought 22,500
and a couple of camaros, a tired 85 IROC t top, a 89 IROC t top with garish airbrushed artwork on the quarter panels, under the doors and the black inserts in the hood, a VERY nice 88 IROC coupe that except for it had no t tops was perfect and if it had them i would SO bid on it!

there was other stuff, only the monte i wanted and the olds 442 and maybe one of the IROCs. my dad wanted the desoto as it is the same year he was born
