Most expensive Oil change ever
Soo, I went in to dealership today to get an oil change on my 2011 SS victory red.
While I was waiting for it........I custom ordered from factory a 2015 SS red hot with the 1LE package, dual exhaust, red hot, sunroof, recaro seats, 2SS performance package, navigation...... ...... They say the wait is 8-10 weeks...!!! anyone with similar "oil change" experience? ??....I love love my current 2ss and i wasnt planning to get a new one.....but it just happened you know.... I'll post pics once it gets here....in the meanwhile...this my current 2ss.. |

Congrats on your new purchase. Always nice to see a repeat buyer! I too ordered from the factory on Feb 6, 2014. Took nine weeks to the day. The wait was pure torture.
I will be interested in your review of the 1LE suspension after living with the standard coupe suspension for several years. Sure it's more capable on a track but do you really prefer it for your DD?

Had my umpteenth 1-2 gear grind in my 11' LT and went to "just look" at a 13' 5.0 and ended taking it home. Thats kind of like that, right?

JGS - Those are all the top-of-the-line options you ordered on your new 2015!! Did they knock a few dollars off MSRP? Are they going to take your 2011 in on trade?
Congrats!

So you traded you 2011 2SS for a 2015 2SS....
The 1LE and the NPP w/ Recaros will make it feel like a completely different car. Yep....that would be an expensive oil change alright. lol

Congrats. Welcome to the club! Similar thing happened to me, I was there purchasing rear diff oil, and someone asked if I had drive the 13', I said not yet. Ended up trading my 10' for a 14' 1LE last January.

No doubt, much better handling and performance, it feels faster than my 10' SS.
