think any chance GM to release chevelle

would be great if GM added a modernly styled 2 door chevelle to their lineup.

I don't see it happening. They just released the "SS" and it is struggling to sell. Bland styling and a high price will kill this car in a few years.

I thought GM already said they were going to stop production?

I think GM should release a new Buick GNX to hunt the Hellcats

I would buy a Chevelle but 2 Door and would have to have the right look, not like the Impala

Not sure I like the look of the Mod to this car (Camaro) But GM could make a Retro Chevelle

Bring back the Buick GNX.
Maybe even have a 6 and 8 version.

Also bring back the GTO.. NO, not the 04-06 rebadged Aussie mobile.
Do a proper retro GTO restyle, just like the Camaro.

And what the hell, create a whole new line of Ford Falcon Xb's.
Give them side pipes, and Wieand SC's.
Some of you will get this immediately because you are enlightened and well informed.

Some of you will just scratch your heads and say "whaaat?" and shame on you for that.

No, because it would essentially be the same thing as the Camaro. What would make it different enough for someone to walk into their chevy dealer and buy a chevelle over a camaro?

If its essentially a coupe version of the SS sedan, which already starts at 45K figure the coupe is right there, as well. So figure it also gets the LT1 in it, it will probably weigh more than the 6th Gen Camaro SS(bc chevelle was always bigger) so it won't perform better than it, its going to cost more and if you say put the LT4 in it, that would push the price past the Corvette.

In the current market place there really is no place for a new Chevelle.

There is absolutely nothing about that car that says Chevelle. Chevy will never bring back the Chevelle but, on the microscopic chance they did, it should be done right. Not throwing the badge on some generic sedan like that render.

This^^^, EXACTLY...
Well spoken sir.
This is precisely why the new GTO failed.
It was a great performance based car, that was simply rebadged, and then given an iconic moniker.
It looked nothing like the legendary GTO of old, it looked like an Oldsmobile Alero

Man the 2016 Camaro better have some wow factor or there in trouble. Oh I would be all in for a Chevelle and probably will buy a vintage one long before they ever consider making a new one !

I said that about a camaro as well...and here I am. If they could make a retro chevelle that resembles a 70-72 and is about the size of the current challenger, I'd be all over it.
