While lowriders are mostly show and not go, I still prefer them over the most tastefully done ricers. Generally speaking though, I say that form follows function. Make your car go fast, then make it look cool. But I respect the guys that make low riders. The cars are rolling works of art

Yeah. While I appreciate the work, time and craftsmanship that go into a totally tricked out Lowrider. I prefer Dash to Flash. I want more Zing than Bling.

every now and then i see a nice lowrider that looks good, but i not a huge fan of huge drops, maybe an inch here or there but not dragging.

Everyone has different tastes. These guys happen to like increadibly detailed lowriders. At least they did these like the top of the line, ya know? Lotsa work...

Personally, I think lowriders are the most God-awful things in the car world. Even worse are lowrider trucks. Dropping a truck or SUV is like sucking the soul out of it. Drop cars, lift trucks.

It's all good work. I'd love to roll around in a dropped '64 Impala with 22" rims and candy paint.

I just worry that the next speed bump they hit will do $100k in damage.

Most of the lowriders originate from the west coast, primarily LA, where there isn't much point to having a ton of power, due to the fact that you'll hardly get to use it. Personally, I think they're all right, I'd never put that much money into a car, but some of them don't look too bad. MUCH better than crap like this:

I love my Jeeps, it gets me pissed off to see a lifted rwd CAR...

Not to mention they usually do this crap to some of the rarer GM's out there...

Anybody feel like handholding me through basic repairs I've never done before?
