Trying to upgrade to the v8 here! It doesnt HAVE to happen, but ya know...

Ive talked a dealership down to 37k out the door (after taxes) for a 2014 2SS. Has all options except sunroof. I'll list them just so we are on the same page and im not clarifying them.

Options Included

Backup Cam
Nav
RS Appearance
Full body, dual stripe
Short Throw Shifter
Recaros
NPP

Options Excluded

Sunroof
I guess ... no Bose?

What is your opinion? I think this is a good deal, but I would appreciate the confirmation.

New for the 20% deal.

I just read someone got a 2SS for 33K... but idk what options he had...

I'd say its an "ok deal", just hold off a few days to see if they call you. Another 1k off and I'd jump on it.

I think the Boston Acoustics Sound system comes with the 2SS so you should have it. Not Bose but it's the current equivalent right.

What's the MSRP on it?

Yea, I'm gonna try to hit them up for at LEAST another grand. Hopefully 2. Considering my 1LT/RS has 10k miles and is still like new.

I almost slapped the salesman in the face when he said 15500 for my car.

MSRP 43,975

If anything, the deal doesnt HAVE to happen.

What price are they giving you before tax? The GM discount gets you down to $35182 before they even knock anything off on top of that. Not sure what taxes are in GA for vehicles, but $37k seems high to me for an out the door price if it were in IL where the tax is 6.25%

Just so you know what I paid for mine..

Paid 33k for 2014 2SS RS black everything but soon roof and 1le package. Traded my 2013 1lt rs 20k miles for 21k.

Idk man. If I was spending 37k on an ss I'd just go for the zl1. There is a member who is getting a zl1 for 43.5k right now.

Thanks for the info guys. Seems like theyre beating me up over my trade-in. I owe 19 and knockout is telling me he got 21k when his had 10k more miles. Seems like I can dig out a couple more grand. like 3 or 4 more.

Edit: I should update the location, but I'm in NJ, registering the car to FL. So 7%

$37k incl. 7% tax sounds perfectly good to me for an MSRP of $43,975. The question is whether or not they will be fair on the trade-in.

There is a 2015 2 SS 1LE 20% deal for just shy of $33.000 at a dealer near me. So that does seem high to me.

That number doesn't mean much without an MSRP...
