Break in period

The break in instructions are pretty straight forward, but the part that says to not drive at a constant speed has me a little confused. If I'm taking a long trip down I-75 at 70 mph should I periodically accelerate to 75 for a bit, and then down to 65 for another period of time? How long should those periods of time be?

Trust me when I say I'm not stupid, but this is my first new corvette and of course I want to do this right.

yes exactly, do not set the cruise control for the first 500 miles, and adjust your speed up and down by 5-10 mph when on roadways without stop lights/signs. the 500 mile break in period is important.........

get your first oil change at the 500 mile mark as well.......
