Newly Registered Lurker from MN

Hello all, as the title suggests, i've been lurking on camaro5 for somewhere around a year, picking up tidbits. My name is Mitch, and I live in Duluth, MN and have been and will continue to daily my '14 1LS, for which has about 12k on it since picking it up. Did a lot of research when it came to winter tires,(for which I got from tirerack and plugged the forum.) So far the 255/60r18 goodyear ultragrip winter tires have pushed the stock car confidently through 6" of snow, so we'll see how it goes in deeper snow.

This is my second camaro, one being a rusted out $500 1990 with a 3.1/Auto, so no real comparison there. I have high aspirations for performance modifications, but we'll see how far that goes! Currently in school for Mech. Engineering at the University here in Duluth, so that's where the money goes.

I also have a '74 lemans with a 455 that I bought a couple months before the camaro. A perplexing buy, that I'm still not sure if the car is hideous or not. Craigslist gets the best of me much too often.

I spent some time up in Duluth, was in CS/ECE at UMD for a while before deciding it wasn't for me.
The monthly chair races down the long hallway in Vermillion were awesome.

Mitch, CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands, girlfirends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.
