Another new MD member
Hello everyone!
I finally bought the car I have wanted since 5th grade, a 5th gen Camaro! After months of silently creeping forums I went out to buy my first (real) car. I bought my 2012 Camaro 2LS in victory red this past June. I looked around for a manual but after three months of breaking down and towing my vw I decided to live with the auto jokes. It may be automatic but it still turns heads and I love the car. So far I have installed blue LED's inside that I stole from my jetta. Nothing distasteful or too flashy. I have a bowtie blackout kit to install if it ever stops raining here as well. The most noticeable feature may be my custom "Vintage" plate. It is a state offered reproduction and I wanted it because I love the retro look of both the car and its plate. On a side note this was the best forum I found during my prebuy stage! |

whoa wait... 5th grad??? so you are what 17/18? (doing the math I have twins in 5th grade they are 11 and this car came out in 2010 (debuted in 2007)
anyhow...  and congrats!!!! you have much to be proud of if my math is correct and you bought your first Camaro.

Yup! Very close, 19. I wanted it as soon as I saw the renderings, 2006 concept, and then when it went in to production I wanted to grab it before they redesigned it. I love the 2012's newer powerplant with the first 5th gen appearance.

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands, girlfirends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.
 oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!
