2104 Z71 back to the dealer again

I hope I did not make a second mistake, I had numerous problems with my 07 Yukon XL, I replaced it with a 2014 Z71 , and I have a continuous vibration, I hope I didn't just make a major mistake.....

Do you own a GNX,I had a Grand National in 1984 for about a year, had an accident and it wasn't repaired that well so I traded for an 85 Monte Carlo SS,I liked the Monte better. Now I see GN's selling for a good bit of money, but hardly ever see any GNX's around, there was one on Ebay a couple of years ago and it was listed at 106,000 still had all the plastic on it.

You probably made a mistake, but I hope not. There is a 179page thread on GM-trucks.com specific to vibration issues in these trucks.

Been everything from out of round rims, unbalanced tires, u joints, unbalanced driveshaft, improper pinion angle, right side engine mount needing 3mm of shims, trans not being properly aligned with motor. GM admits there is a problem but they dont have a solution.

Whats worse is the problem is often intermittent and hard to trace. GM will figure it out and take care of it for you.

I had a 2006 Yukon Denali XL.

I can honestly say that was the biggest POS I ever bought.

Motor ran great, besides that it was always in the shop. bought it new in 2006, traded it in 2010 with just under 60K miles.

Do the 09-13 Tahoe and Suburban have as many problems? I thought these cars were the highest rated SUVs in their class?

Wow, and I was considering a new truck...but after reading some of the stuff on GM-Trucks, now, not so much.

One post hit home though. (paraphrasing) "Ford has the "Eddie Bauer Edition" while we get the "Michael J. Fox Edition"....

Got a chuckle out of that one.
