quick question about engine in ss

So the manual ss has the ls3 engine and the auto has the L99. i thought that they changed the auto engine a model year or 2 ago to something different or did i read wrong?

It's still the L99, now all the V6 models went from a LLT to an LFX in 2012, maybe you were thinking of that.

This. The engines in the SS have not changed since 2010.

Mine did, it went from a L99 in 2010, to a Supercharged L99 in 2012. Not sure if that counts.
