Hello Camaro5
Hi everyone! After being without a Camaro for almost 2 years, it was time. We got rid of my 94 4th gen V6 to get something a little more reliable with less miles (she had 240k and was starting to become a constant project). The wife was partial to the Mustangs so we ended up with a 2007 Mustang... Biggest mistake ever... This Mustang was truly a Fix Or Repair Daily. In total we put 7k miles on it and replaced a transmission, A/C, Alternator, Battery, and the rack and pinion was starting to leak... what a nightmare. Well the Mustang ended up breaking down on the wife when she was out with some friends on Mother's Day. This was the last straw for both of us, and Last Saturday we picked up our new baby. She is a 2014 LS, Ashton grey with silver stripes. I hope she lasts as long as my 94 4th gen.
  I've been lurking the forums for the last few days and I'm excited to be part of this thriving community. Just love some of the mods that have been done on the LFX engines so far, no comparison to the very limited mods that were available for the 4th gen 3.4L. The new V6 engine design is amazing, and can't be compared to the old 4th gen engines. If you drove one of those cars, I'm sure you know what I mean... Of course they were very reliable, but slow slow slow. |

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands, girlfirends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.
 oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!
