My new 1LS and a question
My dealer ran an ad in the paper for new Camaros at less than $20k so I jumped on it. The one I picked had the extra cost of the yellow color but still a good deal and a pretty car.
  Here is my question... why does my car chime twice when I start it? I have my seat belt buckled, btw. |

well I guess you did get a good deal.....oh and btw......CONGRATS on your ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.
 oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!

I was hoping for an answer about why does my car chime twice when I start it. I still don't know why but I visited the dealer and tried a different 1LS and it also chimed twice after the motor started. I guess it's a normal thing.

Welcome and Congrats on your 1LS !!
Very Nice in Yellow  All new cars chime when you start them up its part of the start up cycle. The vehicle checks all the systems and you get noisey chimes and such.

I have the bad habit of inserting my key before I close my door sometimes. I get the 2 chimes that way, and congrats on a great buy. My car was certified used with 7k on the clock, and I walked away with it for 22k so that is on hell of a deal.
