Nissan GTR Videos

I'm new and dont know how much you guys keep track of other cars, but i decided to throw this up anyway.

i found a couple of videos of the new GTR

I get a bad taste in my mouth when I say "GTR"...
But, yeah - it's an impressive machine.

i know man but all i can say is that i don't want to get beat by one.. i like to drag race. soooo...my camaro is gonna have to pull off an 11 sec 1/4 mile....

psh, That's nothin'!!

Look at it this way, if G8 GTs are pulling off low 12s. Slap on supercharger, some sticky tires, and take out the backseat, and your Camaro should be getting awfully close to 11!

Or, you know...not...but who's counting?!

it's a good 0-60 car but it should get better 1/4 mile times

dont get me wrong it's a good car...but ill take my camaro i thank you!

I agree with you, I think the GT-R shines on smaller tracks with more frequent turns, and less so on ones with large straights.

G8 GT's pulling low 12's? I didn't know they were running that quick. I thought that vid just posted showed them running 13.18...or low 13's.

I didn't know if there was maybe something I was missing! I was like, "low 12's? D@mn!...hold up." hehe

I FIRMLY believe the base Camaro will pull mid to high 12's.

for acceleration, the GTR has a clear advantage in 0-60 over nearly everything else. But midrange and top end it doesn't do so well. A stock top Camaro might beat it to 150 mph. But for a total of under 50k you could build up a base Camaro to beat a the Nissan on any track.

However, with all the focus on the GT-R vs the Corvette and the 911, there is 1 car that has been forgotten about: Viper. As I understand it, the snake boasts better 1/4 mile numbers, braking, skidpad, and figure 8. I'd like to see those two in comparison test.

The GT-R is an amazing machine though. It bothers me that it can handle a track better than the Corvette.
