New Member from Pennsylvania here!

Hey everyone!!

40 years old, married, 4 little kids and 4 weeks ago I bought my first Camaro. Midlife crisis? Nah!! I have a 2014 2LT/RS in Ashen Gray. I made my first mistake as a new pony owner and didn't get the V8!! I was thinking gas mileage since this is going to be my daily driver but now I wish I would have gone for it. Oh well....I'm having fun with it just the same. Half the reason I bought it was aesthetics anyway.

Any ideas for mods are appreciated! I'm a little hesitant to do too much to it cause I don't want to ruin anything but here's what I've done so far:
  • Black plastidipped the gold part of the front and rear bowties. Scratched up the plate that hides the radiator while trying to get it back over the hood latch. newbie mistake I'm sure!
  • I added LED doorsills though I'm waiting for my posi-taps to come in before wiring them. tried a scotch lock and felt like it wasn't a good idea.
  • Added carbon fiber kickplates to the doors.
I'm really interested in making the car look meaner on the inside and out but need ideas since I'm new to both the Camaro and working on cars. I was eyeing up this Sinister Hood that to me looks AWESOME! Just scared that when it gets installed it won't line up right...etc.

Anyway - I won't be much help to anyone yet but hopefully after learning from all of you I can help other newbies as they come along.

Chris

CONGRATS on your ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!
