Anyone else excited for this game?

I have never been into this style of game, but over the last few weeks I have been researching it and now plan on giving it a try.

Not to much longer until it is released for XBOX one.

Nope. More interested in final fantasy mmo on ps4. I liked the elders scrolls series. But not enough to pay the monthly fee for it

I heard ESO has a horrible buisness model with 15 bucks every month to play.. To me thats a little steep. Should be B2P not P2P

That's far from a 'horrible business model', it' sbeen used pretty successfully.

Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn is tits. It also plays VERY well on the Vita with remote play.

I know. Got to play in the beta was fantastic. Rdy to get back into it. Only a few more days!

I am anything but excited for this game. This is a full priced game, requiring that you buy an extra (imperial edition) at the time of purchase to get the full game. Then, you have to pay $15 a month to play. No thanks, especially after the crap they pulled on Skyrim for PS3.

I had no problem with the pricing plan, the game just isn't very good. I tried to play the beta weekends and just got bored quick.

No, but TES (The Elder Scrolls) is a series of single player games, and if you play on PC, the mods you can get are bewildering in scope and impressive in content. ESO is a very late attempt to cash in on MMOs using TES as the base.

Google "Skyrim" "Oblivion" and "Morrowind". There are other, earlier TES games as well but those three are the most recent. ESO will be visually quite similar to Skyrim.

I have been playing their games since Arena. Daggerfall blew my mind when I was a kid. They've only really taken one other forray into the online universe, and that was with Battlespire (I think that is what its called), which or HORRIBLE. Everyone about TESO shouted mundane MMO with nothing really to add...Hell, to me it looks like Dungeons and Dragons online, which wasn't bad, but it wasn't great.
