Introduction

Hey guys (and gals?), John here. Family and friends all call me john-o. New to the boards here, and I thought I'd take a minute to introduce myself. Just recently bought a new 2014 camaro 2SS in black. It's so new I haven't even driven her yet. I bought from a dealer I bought my last car from, and he got me in my car at exactly the price I wanted.

Only problem is, I live in Tampa, and she sits in IL. I'm flying up in two weeks to drive it down. Needless to say, I'm anxious as hell.

Now, before you go judging me for buying a car without driving it, I'll let you know that I've driven quite a few '14 SS vehicles in the past couple weeks, and even some 2013's.

I currently drive a 2007 Grand Prix. Did all the mods myself, so I'm no slouch. I had: headers, intake, high velocity upper intake manifold, and a tuned PCM with hptuners. She also had a lot of visual mods that I was very proud of. Was such a great car, and never gave me any trouble.

With that being said, I'm very ready for over double the HP! Will post pics as soon as I bring her home...

John, CONGRATS on your ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

thanks everyone, looking forward to learning about my new car. mods will come later as i maxed out my monthly payment to get this car. went from owning my old one outright to a huge monthly payment, haha.
