Buying car out of state plus shipping it

After a kinda long search I've found a camaro I'm wanting. Problem is, it's in Florida and I'm in Tennessee. It's about a 16 plus drive and I really don't have time to go get it.

I was wondering how is the best way to send money and ship it? It's off a individual and he's a member on ls1tech and has a perfect trading rating so I have no problem thinking he's not a scammer. I'm mostly worried about shipping it. It's just a 98 z28 but it's a pretty nice car and want to keep it damage free as I can. I tried the online shipping quotes and got a lot of different prices. Any help would be appreciated

Try Reliable Carriers. They shipped mine from IN to RI in a covered trailer. No damage.

Fly in and drive back. Fl to TN isn't 16 hours. In a Camaro it's about 6.

Plus you'll be breaking it in.

Definitly make sure it is a closed trailer. I had a car shipped open trailer and I thing they drove the entire 1000 mile trip on gravel roads. I had more chips in the paint then if would have I had left it in a Walmart parking lot for a year.
