Joined the family....

I've been thinking about it for years but due to some financial (paying double mortgage at the time) and marital (told her to kick rocks) issues, I was never able to get the car I have always wanted.

After weeks of serious contemplation, I decided to take the plunge and trade in my Camry (hey I was trying to be a family man at the time) for a new 2014 1LT. Now my plan is upgrade to the SS eventually, but I wanted to make sure that I was actually going to ENJOY driving the car instead of looking at it.

Took a 4 hour drive in my new car yesterday and I love it! Sorry if I'm acting like a little schoolgirl but this thing just has me hype. The difference in feeling from the Camry is crazy (as it should be I know).

Pretty much just wanted to stop in and introduce myself -- I will now be a frequent flyer around these parts. Any advice on any immediate upgrades? Camaro is stock right now all around. I don't even have tint on it (but that's coming this weekend). From there, what do you old heads think I should upgrade first?

Give examples if you can.

Depends on what your budget is and how far you want to take your mods. I first went on line, did my research and took it from there. Welcome to the family and enjoy!

What color is it? I have a Red Hot 1LT/RS (as you can see from my sig, and I love it! But for appearance mods, the color is important.

CONGRATS on your ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome to the Camaro family and Camaro5! As far as mods are concerned, it all depends on what is more important to you, visual mods or performance mods. If it's performance, I'd say get a CAI (cold air intake) and maybe a cat back exhaust. That should give you more sound and the CAI should help improve gas mileage. Visual mods are endless.
