Smile New to the community

Just bought my first Camaro. It's a 2010 red SS. I got a great deal on it. I bought it 3 months ago w/ 900 miles on it. That's a car built in 2009 with under a thousand miles. I thought that was pretty rare. I got a great price as well. The only issues I'm having is keeping those damn wheels clean and trying to figure out how to get rid of some of the wear that's on the wheels. Any suggestions?

Otherwise its pretty much brand new.

I'm also new to cars in general. I'm 29 years old and just recently developed an interest so expect some stupid questions.

Welcome

Best way to keep the wheels clean is to make them black, lol. The brake pads on the SS are notorious for throwing a lot of dust. What kind of wear are you referring too?

Todd, CONGRATS on your ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Some minor scratches on the wheels. I think the previous owner went through an automatic wash and scratched them on the rails.
