2015 Tahoe or Yukon
Does anyone on the forum have one of these new trucks. We're currently looking for some in our area, but it's pretty slim picking right now. I was just wanting to see if anyone had some seat time in them. Thanks in advance.

Yeah they are getting a little pricey. But you got to think they are coming with some pretty fantastic features.

Was at local dealer to build and price 15 Suburban yesterday. They have a Tahoe built and inbound due any day. So they should be showing up at dealers in the next week or so. I want see and drive too before ordering. Price is up very little, building a truck on dealers computer, options were different than the one I build online Chevrolet site.

I looked at getting an LTZ in 07 and it had an MSRP of 45,000,a 2015 LTZ is at 60,000 now,an average increase of almost 2000$ a year.I asked one time why the price kept going up and was told the electronics were the reason.

Not yet. I haven't seen any at the dealers, though I have seen the new Escalades already. We are planning to wait until next year and maybe get a leftover or a lightly used one. They look like excellent trucks, but we can't swing $50-55K for a decently optioned LT or Yukon. I guess in theory we could, but we definitely don't want to.

That's total bs imo. I'm not buying that at all. If i was to guess its profit and greed for the shareholders. I can tell you one thing its not the employee's they have not seen real raise's in years and the new hires are on new pay scale that takes forever to get anywhere near what the older workers make.

Local dealer call today, they just got a new Tahoe in. Went down and took it for a ride, interior is nicer than my 07 Suburban. Only thing I did like is when 3 th row seat is folded down it's not flat. 3 row is not removable like the older models. Was hoping the 15 were going to be like the 06 and below that when seats were down you could lay a pice of plywood or Sheetrock flat. I am referring to the Suburbans. I am how going to hold off on ordering new truck till Suburbans start hitting dealer lot and can check out if seats fold differant than Tahoe. Other then that truck rode nice and had plenty of of low end leaving a light, for a truck with 308 rear. Dash board and front seat area real nice. Lot of new stuff in dash. New Navagation system is lot better than old style. I give it thumps up. I have four dogs that's why I want flat area in rear behind 2 th row seats.

I think both the Tahoe and Suburban use fold 'flat' rear seats.

Maybe they are priceing them higher trying to push buyers out of that segment into models with 6 or 4 cylinders. So its easier for them to meet CAFE standards. Push all the Soccer moms who don't use them to tow or do anything that actually needs the V8 drive train for.

Neither but I like the look of the Yukon better for 2015.
