Winter Olympic Thread

thought I would create a thread for those of us who are going to watch the winter Olympics.

I just watched some of the qualifying that was one Nbc for the slopestyle snowboard and others they showed I just hope they don't talk too much about the non sport crap.

I plan on watching the opening ceremony tomorrow, and hope to catch some of the events. I like watching the curling, even though I never seem to be able to catch it. lol

Yea looked pretty painful to watch but she did get up afterwards so that's good. I look forward to curling and the luge and halfpipe and I am liking the slopestyle so far. Also suck for team usa in the team figure skating that the first guy missed and fell down on a trick/element in his program so it put them to not medal maybe.

Big game tomorrow morning (7:30am ET) between Canada and the U.S in womens hockey. I'm predicting a 4-2 Canadian win... it should be a tight game so that 4th goal is an open net

i'll probably watch some of the cross country skiing. I think that's all I watched last time.

I agree with the extra goal being open, but i'm definitely going the other way. USA will get it done; they're STACKED. Not that it matters that much anyways, since they'll be meeting again in the gold medal game.

I agree with you there. The U.S is up 1-0 after 2 right now so it should be a good third period. I'm listening online at work but wishing I was home to watch the game.

Disappointed is an understatement for me. Been watching him all year. For him to not even medal makes me want to throw my tv remote through the wall and go yell obscenities at the neighbors cat.

Yah those girls will be playing hard for the Gold and should be hitting hard.

I'm looking forward to the US men vs Russia tomorrow morning (7:30 ET) and then Canada vs Finland Sunday @ noon ET.
