New 2013 V6 member
Hello all, I am a new owner of a 2013 black V6 RS 1Lt! I have had the car for almost three months and I'm now just going to start modding. I have so many questions and was wondering if anyone guide me in the right direction. I'm dipping the wheels tomorrow with a friend and plan on blacking out the badges, but I'm so lost on exhausts and cold air intakes.
Can anyone recommend a popular exhaust? Borla!? I have no idea. I don't want it to sound like a ricer or be a db, and unfortunately I'm somewhat on a budget. Also I'm trying to go with the ZL1 look and really like the side and front side rocker look. Any advice and links would be great, Ty. If im correct the 2013 engine is the LLT type and I can only go supercharged right? Thanks! |

CONGRATS on your ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.
 oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!

^yep 2013 is the LFX engine, so you have the option for the IPF s/c and the IPS turbo kit. Both impressive numbers on the LFX.
As for exhaust, I have the MRT v2 and love it. As for CAIs there are a few good ones for the v6 Injen, Cold Air Inductions, Rotofab. There is a chart on gains when attached to the LLT engine, which should show around the same gains for the LFX as well
