Can I tint windows in the winter?
Just wondering if I can have my windows tinted in the middle of winter or if it would be a problem?
Also how can I find a good place to get work done? I dont want something that is going to peel or look bad in a year or two. I live in the Chicagoland / NW Indiana area, thanks in advance. |

Might have to baby it a little longer because I would think the "curing" would be slowed a bit, but most reputable places wouldnt do it if there was going to be a problem. Especially if they give you a lifetime warrently. I just got mine done lost week, FormulaOne(llumar) ceramic tint. lifetime warrenty and no problems or worries so far. However, your area is substancially colder this time of year than mine so there is that other variable... talk to a good place, they can answer your questions better than I.
Dont go cheap. |

I've gotten plenty of windows tinted in the winter months with zero issues...I always give my windows a full 7 days before I roll them down just in case

I prefer to do my rides in the winter that way I dont accidently roll down the windows. It does take longer for it to cure but not an issue.
