How Do I submita Poll?

Need to ask a question using Poll count....how?

it's in the inital set up of a new post, go down to the bottom of the page and look for the poll options

When you are creating the first post for a thread, if you scroll down below the first set of Preview and Submit buttons, you'll see some options -including one for adding a poll. Select the check box under 'Post a Poll' and fill in the number of options you want (default is 4) and, after you are done creating the first post, click 'Submit New Thread'. You'll then be taken to the edit poll page where you can add the options as well as set the type (such as allowing only a single choice to be made, or letting multiple options be selected, among other settings).


If you have already created a thread a member cannot add a poll, however a moderator will be able to do it for you if you like. Just let one of us know via a PM (or you can do it in this thread if you like) what you want for the choices, as well as providing a link to the thread so we can find it quickly & easily (and don't accidentally add the poll to the wrong thread).

I just posted a poll in the main forum re; about the use of CD players in our Camaros. I couldn't figure out how to get the "yes / no" options and a selection for either radio or MP3 to show for the question(s). Could one of you Admins. either correct this for me or delete the poll and also explain how to include reply options in the poll, please? AND why can't I delete the poll???

To do a poll like that, you'd probably have to select the 'Allow Multiple Choice' option

You'd also have to 'update the number of poll options

But you're kinda trying to ask 2 questions at once with that (do you use the CD player & what else do you listen to). I would rework the question so that you can cover everything at the same time. Use the multi-choice option (so members can select more than one response) and ask something like:

What do you listen to in your car:
CD Player
AM/FM radio
XM satellite radio
MP3's
Nothing but the engine
