Z51 Option Implications

The Z51 option includes a lot of interesting pieces. A dry sump oil system, differential cooler and transmission cooler among other things. What are the maintenance implications of these things? Are these Options that are new to GM and Chevy and if so, are they a reason to buy a 100,000 mile warranty?

I'm getting more serious about the car and just wonder what the implications might be of buying the performance package.

Any help is appreciated.

The ediff is newfor Chevy. The mag ride is a newer iteration (3rd or 4th, I have lost track). The items mentioned above have definitely stood the test of time.
