Ordered today in S Fla

After going to a few dealers in the Miami /Ft Laud market and being told to come back next year, or they were charging 10K over invoice, I found a dealer who sat down and treated me like a real human being.

This dealer is part of a national chain, and the General manager came out to meet me , as opposed to some kid they just hired.

The bad news: I am #41 on their list. They are taking no money deposits until they have a slot for you. They are selling at MSRP, no add of profit.

They have received 17 slots so far

They were "OK" in my trade..I really should sell it myself....

So we all agreed to meet in April or may....

I had a good experience ordering here in South FL as well. I ordered in Delray Beach. The good news is that I am NEXT on the Vert. I gave a deposit last April to get on the list.

I think you maybe signed up with a dealer that probably won't get 41 cars in this initial release to dealers.
If you don't have a deposit down # 41 means nothing if you go into next year! All dealers will be able to order. That will swamp the factory with orders for all the dealers across the country!

If (41) is more coupes, or verts than he has allotted, you don't have anything.
Make sure he has enough of the body you want to get in before that!

I'm coming from Arizona to Rick Hendricks in Duluth, Ga. To be sure of getting a car before next summer. Dan Houser wrote me that he has open spots if you want to get a car sooner, and at MSRP?

I got an early C5 and it was 9-10 months after to see one at a dealer, and that was at +$10,000 to keep it long enough for a few customers to see the car.
