Pics of 2013 Pole Day at Indianapolis featuring Camaro Festival Cars & Vette Pace Car

Here are the pictures I took while attending Pole Day at Indiapolis Motor Speedway a few days ago on Saturday, May 18, 2013. I saw several of the 2013 Hot Wheels edition Camaro SS convertible Festival Cars parked all around the grounds of the speedway. As a couple of IMS dignataries were getting into their festival car and putting the top down, they stopped and let my three year old son sit in the passenger seat. He loved it! Chevy also had a nice display on the infield featuring a Camaro ZL1 convertible, a Camaro 1LE and a few show car Camaros. Ed Carpenter got the pole for the Indy 500 driving his Chevy powered Indycar to a four lap average of around 229 mph. Enjoy the pictures.

Here are pics of the Indycars during qualifying. Chevy engines powered the top nine cars to qualify on the grid. Not a Honda in the first three rows.

WHAT A DISGRACE, Chevrolet is parading around those UGLY, UNSALEABLE Blue colors in public.
When I saw Scott (Fbodfather) at Tom Henry's open house he said those Blue colors (medium blue) just don't sell, So why is Chevrolet putting 51+ at a large event, THE EMBARRASSMENT!!!!!!!

If you build it in Blue (like ABM, or Mulsanne Blue, like my 1970) I will buy it, Corvette even has a worse color, British Racing Green (not sure I would buy, but a least everyone gets a choice).
