Google-fu confirms Roush bought up SLP. Ford also ordered a cease and desist on any development or support for Camaro due to a conflict of interest via Roush Racing.

Lolford.. I can smell the lawyers cheap cologne from the moon.

The more I think about this, this info seems bogus since no one can provide a source link to the information nor post this email that was also claimed to be sent. Could be wrong but the name being thrown around is Tick Performance and they are have a SLP fire sale to clear out the remaining inventory but when you go there, there is no sale and certainly no discount on anything. Something seems fishy....

So it seems SLP will strictly be a custom car manufacturer and not sell aftermarket parts anymore unless I read that wrong. Will wait and see for that official press release.

With Roush involved it's flat out not overblown.
that would be like Apple Iphone division Buying the entire Android division and then claiming there will be no change in business model..
yeh right.
Roush should have stayed on their own side of the fence with Ford.

Agree. This is why Saleen should of stayed only with Ford and not cross-pollinate with other brands for their stuff is crap now. Nobody did the 98-02 Fbody the way SLP did and Roush does a real nice job with the Mustangs. Can't see this being positive except for guys like Hennessey and others for Camaros now.

So the laymans terms are these:

ZL327-600s will be built by SLP specialty vehicles. Loudmouth exhausts and blackwing cold air lids/intakes will fall under Roush.

However, will Roush still produce the latter with ties to ford and their contract? Anyone got the skinny on that?
