Brakes for a '09 Zo6?...

Hey guys and girls, I ask this here because when I went searching on the corvette forum Im on, and i didn't find an abundance of information on my topic.

So what are the best brakes for a '09 Zo6 that's daily driven every day, has 80k and has less dust but the same stopping power as the stock brake pads? Also should the rotors be turned?....appreciate the help.

Are you looking for rotors and pads? Or just pads?

Either way I would check out EBC Brakes.

My dad said he isn't totally sure if the rotors can be turned or that he needs new ones? And what kind of EBC brakes would you recommend?
Thanks for the reply

get the ac delco ceramic pads, stop good and just about no dust.
rotors should get turned with new pads altho that lessens their mass if you autoX but ok for DD.

EBC Greenstuff for normal use, Its a Z06 so maybe Yellowstuff or Redstuff if you/he autocross or races it.

The only reason to turn rotors at all is if there is a thickness variation more than .030. Chances are unless you're seeing abnormal brake pad wear you don't need to turn the rotors. I'm pretty sure brand new OEM rotors for the z06 are only like $75 bucks each so why risk getting them turned at all, just buy new ones imo.

$68.83 + tax + S&H, actually from gmpartsdirect.com
