Why Do People Feel The Need?

Why is it when I'm driving around, a bunch of broke down rice ass Honda's and Nissan's with stickers, neon lights, and 6" muffler tips pull up next to me, rev their weak engines, and ask me to race? Do they really think their mom's $500 car that they "tuned up" with $200 worth of Autozone junk is going to go toe to toe with y damn near $50,000 sports car that's made for the track?
And it's not just the ricers. I've taken notice that the Jeep owners are a bunch of douchebags too. I've had about 6 Jeeps in different occasions pull up next to me and rev their engines.
Every time I pull up next to a nice little Corvette, Challenger, Bentley, Jesus Christ even a Mustang, they simply give me the thumbs up or a wave or a simple;Nice ride man.
Why do people in broke down trash cars feel the need to overcompensate by trying to entice our beautiful machines?
I guess I'm just venting or ranting. But do any of you feel the same? Or is it just me?

Everyone becomes a race car driver when they pulled up to me. I had some van revving at me at a 3 lane light. I looked around trying to figure out which car it was and couldn't bc the engine wasn't loud enough lol. Also, these cars are made for the strip not a track

You should have seen how people left the movie theater in 2001 after the Rice and the Furious movie.

It was rediculous. Since then it has been an annoying problem with the ricer bunch who can finally afford a 1996 Civic and a fart can.

Don't feel bad i had a Saturn SL-1 with a busted drivers mirror and broken out back window with 3 punks trying to race me and not long ago a new VW golf or GTI trying to race me from a red light. I get all kinds even minivans.

You didn't answer my wings question!!

And it should be. Dealer placed the order last week. Told me it would take around 8 weeks build time. 12 weeks at the most...

I get it all the time. I had four people try to race me the other day just on my way to school. It's only a 15 mile drive lol
