Far Cry 3

Anyone else getting this when it comes out in 2 days? I got a free copy of it with my new graphics card, and while I've seen the E3 previews and such I hadn't really been paying too much attention to it.... until I found out it's an open-world FPS. Dunno how I missed that detail, but I guess all the previews from E3 made it seem like more of a traditional FPS, more scripted and pathed out. Now that I know it's a open-world FPS (lots of "Skyrim with guns" comparisons have been made), I'm gettin really excited for it

I'm definitely getting it. It looks great and a lot of reviewers are giving it good ratings. What GPU did you get? System Specs?
My current build:
Gigabyte Mobo (ga-990fxa-ud7)
AMD Phenom II X6 1090T
8GB RAM
120SSD (for OS)
2TB (Storage)
Corsair H100
XFX HD 6950 + MSI Twin Frozr HD 6950 (running in crossfire)

GTX680 for me.

I jumped ship and went to the AMD side of the house, got a 7850 for $200 off newegg. Runs all my games on highest settings, and does it at a nice 50 degrees Celsius at max. MUCH cooler than my old nVidia 285 GTX.
So my current system:
Gigabyte motherboard GA-MA790XT-UD4P
AMD Phenom II X6 1045T
MSI Radeon 7850
6 GBs of RAM (forget which brand it was)
400 GB harddrive

I'm in the middle of an upgrade though, ordering a couple parts each paycheck. So once it's complete, the new system will be:
Asus SABERTOOTH 990FX
AMD FX-8120 Eight-core processor
MSI Radeon 7850 (same graphics card)
16 GB of Corsair RAM
Kingston 120GB SSD
Seagate 3TB HD

astoundingly good game

damn near perfect, one of the few games i feel is on the level of mass effect

though, i do feel when i shoot a tiger in the head, it should die
